The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd is hiring for a PC-based machine control software engineer in the United States (Ohio, Pioneer). You will design, develop, test, and maintain control software for industrial automation equipment, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust automation solutions.
The role requires hands-on experience in C#, C++, PLC programming, and industrial communication protocols, with a strong focus on safety standards and project requirements.
Core Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain PC-based control software for industrial automation equipment.
Develop machine control applications using C#, C++, or other relevant object-oriented programming languages.
Perform PLC programming, I/O configuration, troubleshooting, and integration with industrial automation systems.
Configure and integrate industrial communication protocols between PLCs, PCs, HMIs, sensors, servo systems, and other automation equipment.
Support machine setup, equipment testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical issue resolution.
Work closely with Mechanical, Electrical, and Project teams to develop and deliver effective automation solutions.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including software specifications, control architecture, and test documentation.
Ensure automation systems comply with relevant industry safety standards and project requirements.
Support continuous improvement, system optimization, and machine performance enhancement projects.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in PC-based machine control software development and industrial automation.
Hands-on experience in C#, C++, or other relevant object-oriented programming languages.
Knowledge and practical experience in PLC programming, I/O addressing, and industrial communication protocols.
