Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking a versatile consultant to pursue and deliver automation, operations, and process engineering engagements in the U.S. You will build client relationships, develop reports, and coordinate with engineers to craft data-driven solutions.

Travel about 20% for site work; you will apply PowerBI, Alteryx, SQL and simulation tools to design efficient material handling and distribution systems. The role includes benefits and growth within a global team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience with data analysis tools (PowerBI, Alteryx, SQL) preferred.
• Familiarity with supply chains and distribution or manufacturing systems a plus.
• Experience with computer simulation (FlexSim, Demo3D, Arena) a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to earn client trust.
• U.S. work eligibility without employer sponsorship; compliance with security policies.

Responsibilities

• Develop client relationships and earn trust through problem solving.
• Close major system sales through consultative selling.
• Become a thought leader in distribution systems and automation.
• Coordinate with software engineers, CAD/Simulation engineers to prepare reports.
• Maintain tools and methodologies; continually educate on automation software.
• Provide analysis of operational data and computer simulation of proposed systems.
• Build confidence with clients in formal presentations.
• Travel 20% overnight; travel expenses covered.
