All World Machinery in the United States seeks an Automation Service Technician to keep customer automation equipment running safely and reliably through on-site and in-house service. You'll troubleshoot, repair, and communicate to protect uptime and project profitability.

Daily tasks include repairing and verifying machines, diagnosing issues, traveling to customer sites (40–50%, ~25% overnight), and documenting work. A HS diploma, clean driving record, and robotics experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• 3–5 years of applicable experience; robotics background is a plus.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude in machine tool or factory automation; above-average math skills.

Role Summary

A Typical Day

Your day starts by reviewing assignments from the Production & Installation Lead and confirming the parts, tools, and safety requirements needed for the work ahead. Some days you’ll head to a customer worksite; other days you’ll work in-house to complete scheduled repairs. Between tasks, you’ll coordinate logistics for upcoming visits, keep stakeholders informed on progress, and ensure documentation is completed promptly after each job. You’ll balance hands-on technical work with customer-facing communication, building professional relationships through clear explanations and practical guidance. Travel weeks may include overnight stays, so planning and organization are key to staying efficient and prepared.
