Responsibilities

• Execute field installations, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of robotic systems and peripheral equipment.
• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly and debugging in the shop; break down custom machines and automation cells for shipment.
• Onsite layout, installation, and commissioning of automation systems.
• Complete field service reports, preventative maintenance checklists, and equipment documentation to meet operational standards and client specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in machine building with electrical and mechanical assembly; familiarity with FANUC, ABB, Motoman, or similar systems (training preferred but not required).
• Basic programming experience for FANUC Robots or similar brands; strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, fluid power, and electrical prints; understanding of HMI screens and machine tool interfacing with peripheral equipment.
• Knowledge of Ethernet I/P and I/O Link or similar communication protocols is advantageous.
