Moriroku Technology North America (MTNA) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on automation equipment and provide active production support in Greenville, Ohio. The role requires hands-on work with robotics, vision systems, and control circuits within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The technician will read electrical and pneumatic prints, troubleshoot equipment failures, and collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams.

Purpose of Position: The Technician will contribute to the success of the Automation department by performing preventative maintenance, providing permanent solutions to equipment issues, maintaining and repairing production equipment.

Essential Job Functions:

• Preventative Maintenance:
• Complete preventative maintenance for automation equipment to company requirements.
• Maintain and update preventative maintenance documentation.
• Identify and correct potential items of failure.
• Verify equipment functionality and safety devices.
• Assist with maintaining predictive part inventory and organization.
• Production Support:
• Provide technical support for automation equipment in production areas.
• Support tooling changes for automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and correct equipment failure.
• Department Support:
• Complete department projects when assigned.
• Support overtime when needed.
• Assist others when needed.

Experience and Knowledge:

• Ability to read electrical and pneumatic prints.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits and control systems.
• Mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with automation equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting industrial robots, including:
  • Motoman, Yushin, Star, Epson.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting machine vision systems, including:
  • Keyence, Cognex
• Understanding of preventative maintenance practices and equipment reliability principles.

Skills:

• Experience with automation equipment and robot programming.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with production, maintenance, and engineering teams.
• Availability to work the occasional weekend and shutdowns.
