Job summary

Carrier Enterprise is seeking an HVAC Controls Engineer to design, install, and commission building automation systems in Puerto Rico. You will create drawings, equipment schedules, and animated graphics, and support startup activities.

The role requires a Bachelor Degree in Electronics or related fields with at least three years of experience in installing/commissioning controls systems and HVAC hardware, plus strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in electronics or related field is required
• Minimum of three years of experience with installing and/or commissioning controls systems
• 3 years’ experience in HVAC controls hardware (flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of materials, network layouts, electrical schematics) and software applications
• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• Demonstrated advanced computer skills, especially drafting tools

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Electronics or related fields.

Minimum of three years of experience with installing and/or commissioning controls systems including system-level controllers.

3 years’ experience in HVAC controls hardware (i.e. flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of material, network layouts, electrical schematics) and software applications.

Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

Demonstrated technical aptitude.

Demonstrated advanced computer skills required, particularly computer-related drafting tools.
