Job summary

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, PLC/HMI/robotics proficiency, and experience with SOLIDWORKS for drafting tooling and systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical related field.
• Proficient in PLC programming, HMI systems, and robotics.
• Strong mechanical design aptitude with ability to read, understand and create technical drawings.
• 3+ years of manufacturing or automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems and software for complex automation and machine control systems.
• PLC, HMI and Robot programming to optimize automation processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and achieve operational efficiency.
• Use SOLIDWORKS to design and draft automation and tooling for new manufacturing solutions.
• Develop and implement standard engineering practices, as well as provide detailed documentation upon project completion.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems and implement corrective measures.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

This role involves designing, developing, and implementation of end-to-end integrated systems. The Automation/Robotics Technician will be responsible for the design and management of equipment automation, system integration, and optimizing industrial operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with modern electrical controls system concepts.

Responsibilities and Duties are as follows:

• Design and develop control systems and software for complex automation and machine control systems.
• PLC, HMI and Robot programming to optimize automation processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and achieve operational efficiency.
• Use SOLIDWORKS to design and draft automation and tooling for new manufacturing solutions.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 3 plus years of manufacturing or automation experience preferred.

Physical work environment will require:

• Occasional lifting up to 50lbs or heavier.
• Occasional pushing, pulling or handling of materials.
