BSH Home Appliances Corporation in New Bern, NC, is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Technician I for the 3rd shift. You will operate and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment, robotics, vision systems, and PLCs while collaborating with engineers on process improvements.

The role requires a mix of mechanical and electrical skills, with 3–5 years of experience preferred. A high school diploma is required and an associate degree is preferred. Travel is up to 10%.

Qualifications

• High-School Diploma required.
• Associate degree in Manufacturing preferred.
• 3-5 years technical experience preferred.
• Troubleshooting ability.
• Robotics experience.
• CNC systems and PLCs experience.
• Analytical problem solving.
• Travel 10%.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment, robotics, vision inspection systems, and PLC systems.
• Collaborate with engineers on process improvements and the implementation of new technologies.
• Monitor production metrics and quality standards to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Adjust multiple SEW axes and pneumatic pressures for proper alignment to facilitate welding.
• Maintain and clean laser optical lenses to clean room standards.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and tools to minimize downtime.
• Maintain Cognex systems for inspection and detection, including 3D camera systems and barcode readers.
• Participate in daily meetings to discuss efficiency, open issues, and improvements.
