Job summary

Robert Bosch Tool Corporation in Lincolnton, NC is seeking skilled maintenance technicians to service and repair robotic, CNC, and automated equipment. You will diagnose electrical/electronic issues, program PLCs and HMIs, and maintain robot systems (Fanuc/Denso).

The role requires four years in manufacturing, strong safety practices, and the ability to work across electrical and mechanical disciplines within a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years in a manufacturing environment with control systems, PLCs, CNC, robots, PCs and HMIs.
• Knowledge of prints, schematics and equipment documentation for installation, modification and repair.
• Knowledge of machine communications including cables and LAN components.
• Safe operation in electrical control panels of multiple voltages; 3-phase 480V or lower.
• Ability to work with electrical panels; PPE and safety procedures required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, and repair automatic, robotic, and CNC machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair automated lines, presses, welders, robots and CNC grinders.
• Program and modify PLCs and HMIs; work with servo controllers.
• Operate and teach Fanuc and Denso robots; adjust robot positions for material handling.
• Plan and install controls; diagnose electrical/electronic problems; replace failed parts.
• Create wiring diagrams and document changes.
• Perform mechanical repairs as needed; support production and continuous improvement.
• Enter work completed/in progress into SAP.
