Job summary

Kodak Moments Colorado seeks an Automation / Robotics Engineer with 3+ years of experience to enhance finishing and packaging operations. You will design and support automated systems, integrate robots, PLCs, sensors, and vision systems, and work with cross-functional teams to improve capacity and reduce costs.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, documentation, and training while collaborating with engineers, operators, and vendors to deliver solutions in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics engineering (or related field).
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with process automation and control systems.
• Ability to create electrical schematics and panel layouts.
• Experience with Solidworks Electrical (or similar software).
• Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation PLCs and HMIs.
• Proficient with ladder logic for Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation PLCs (RSLogix 5000, RSLogix 500, Studio 5000 Logix Designer, etc.).
• Experience with industrial robot programming and integration – preferably Epson.
• Strong troubleshooting skills solving electrical, mechanical, and software problems.
• Quick to adapt and work effectively in a team.
• Strong communication skills to effectively present ideas to peers and management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design, program, debug, test, install, and support automated manufacturing systems and equipment to drive continuous improvement.
• Integrate robots, PLCs, pneumatics, sensors, actuators, and vision systems for packaging and handling processes.
• Provide day-to-day support for manufacturing operations.
• Create documentation and deliver technical training on equipment and processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
• Integrate purchased and custom-designed equipment solutions.
• Support cost reduction and efficiency improvement projects.
• Provide electrical, mechanical, software, and control systems expertise.
• Support product commercialization teams.
