Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Automation Quality Engineer to support capacity expansion, production ramp-up, and advanced manufacturing in the Propulsion Systems sector. This role will coordinate with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations to ensure automation is capable and ready for production.

The ideal candidate brings quality engineering expertise, manufacturing process understanding, and the ability to drive cross-site initiatives in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 9+ years quality engineering experience (7+ years with graduate degree; 13+ years in lieu of degree).
• 4+ years in automated manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Support automation-related capacity expansion and manufacturing transitions.
• Ensure automated processes are capable, controlled, and production-ready.
• Analyze process capability, stability and failure modes; drive improvements.
• Develop and implement process controls, error-proofing and improvements for automation.
