Job summary

Azusa Solutions is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team of consultants in New York. This role supports IT systems for the New York City Department of Social Services (DSS)/ITS, on-site in Brooklyn, NY, ensuring web and mobile applications meet the highest quality standards.

You will work with business users, developers and infrastructure teams to translate requirements into test cases and automation scripts, build and maintain an automation framework, and contribute to CI/CD and

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in quality engineering and test automation.
• Experience with SQL queries in MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
• Hands-on automation scripting with Selenium Webdriver, Java, Maven, and TestNG.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and test automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Automate, design, implement and verify application features.
• Collaborate with business users, UI/UX designers, developers and infrastructure teams to ensure quality.
• Translate business requirements into test cases and automation scripts.
• Ensure CI/CD processes produce defect-free software through regression testing.
• Create and maintain an automation framework using Selenium Webdriver, RestAssure and page objects.
• Create performance test scripts with JMeter and assess application performance.
• Write SQL queries to verify data across DSS databases.
• Ensure web and mobile apps meet DSS security and accessibility standards.
