Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a Software QA Engineer to help deliver reliable, high-quality software by designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated testing solutions.

You will work as an independent member of an Agile development team, partnering with software engineers, product owners and stakeholders to ensure application quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You will help advance test automation, improve testing processes, and support the delivery of scalable

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant testing experience.
• Experience automating tests using Playwright, Selenium, Python, or similar.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and source control (Git).

Responsibilities

• Analyze user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria and technical designs to identify testing needs, risks and dependencies.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, test data and supporting documentation.
• Design, develop, execute and maintain automated tests using Playwright, Selenium, Python, or similar technologies.
• Build reusable automation components and contribute to improving test automation frameworks.
• Execute manual and automated functional, regression, integration, system and exploratory testing.
• Investigate test failures and determine root causes related to defects, data or environment issues.
• Document, prioritize, track and verify software defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with software engineers to troubleshoot issues, validate fixes and improve quality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and automation design.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor execution results.
• Improve automation reliability by addressing flaky tests.
• Contribute to test coverage analysis and release readiness assessments.
• Support test environment configuration, data preparation, release validation and Agile planning.
