Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated tests using Playwright, Selenium, Python, or comparable technologies.
• Working knowledge of software testing principles, test design methodologies, and SDLC practices.
• Experience testing web-based applications and user-facing software solutions.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience troubleshooting defects, analyzing test failures, and validating corrective actions.
• Familiarity with Git or similar source-control systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution processes.
• Familiarity with APIs, REST, HTTP concepts, and web app architecture preferred.
• Familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps for work management and defect tracking.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria, and designs to identify testing needs and risks.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, scripts, data, and documentation.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Playwright, Selenium, Python or similar technologies.
• Build reusable automation components and improve test automation frameworks.
• Execute manual and automated functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
• Validate application functionality and data through SQL queries and database analysis.
• Investigate test failures and determine root causes related to defects or data issues.
• Document, prioritize, track, and verify defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and automation design.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor execution results.
• Improve automation reliability by addressing flaky tests and inefficiencies.
• Contribute to test coverage analysis, quality metrics, and release readiness.
