Job summary

Simera is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to design and maintain automated test frameworks and contribute to CI/CD driven testing. You will analyze requirements, create automated tests across functional, API, and end-to-end areas, and help ensure software quality.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with major automation frameworks and strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#. Familiarity with API testing and Git-based workflows is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Automation QA Engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on with at least one major automation framework.
• Strong coding/scripting skills in Java, Python, JavaScript or C#.
• Familiar with API testing and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and suites.
• Analyze requirements to identify automation opportunities.
• Create and execute automated tests for API, UI, and end-to-end tests.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Identify, reproduce, and track software defects.
• Document automation frameworks, tests, and results clearly.
• Research improvements to testing tools and strategies.
