Job summary

Simera Professional seeks an experienced Automation QA Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust automated test suites for web and API services. You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with developers and product managers, and help improve software quality through comprehensive testing strategies and clear documentation.

Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress or Playwright, plus Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

Qualifications

Experience as an Automation QA Engineer or similar role.
Hands-on with at least one major automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
Strong programming or scripting in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
Experience with API testing and RESTful services.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Git.
Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing activities.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, and test suites
Analyze requirements and technical specifications to identify automation opportunities
Create and execute automated tests for functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured
Identify, reproduce, and track software defects
Maintain clear documentation for automation frameworks and test cases
Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve quality issues
