Job summary

Simera is seeking an Application QA Tester to validate software quality through manual and automated testing, review requirements, and create comprehensive test cases and scenarios.

You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure robust releases, perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing, and document defects with clear reproduction steps for efficient resolution.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience as a QA tester or software tester.
• Experience creating and executing manual test cases and testing strategies.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated tests to validate application functionality and quality
• Review requirements, user stories, and specifications to identify testing needs
• Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and testing documentation
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track application defects
• Provide clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence for reported issues
• Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing after updates
• Validate application functionality against business and technical requirements
• Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and mobile testing
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to resolve issues
• Support release testing, deployment validation, and production verification
