Job summary

Simera is seeking an Application Tester to validate software quality through manual and automated testing across web and mobile platforms. You will review requirements, create test cases, execute tests, report defects, and collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers.

The role includes cross-browser and cross-platform testing and supporting release verification. You'll work with Jira, TestRail, and Azure DevOps to manage test artifacts, track defects, and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience as Application Tester, QA Tester, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience testing software applications.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.
• English proficiency for technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated tests to validate application functionality and quality
• Review requirements and user stories to identify testing needs
• Create and maintain test cases, scenarios, and scripts
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track application defects
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to resolve issues
• Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and mobile testing
• Support release testing and production verification activities
