Job summary

Bcs Technosoft is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure software quality across middleware, APIs, and front-end systems in a fast-paced environment. You will design and execute test plans, automate tests for microservices and APIs, and collaborate with developers to drive test-driven development and rapid issue resolution.

You will work with Postman, Swagger, SoapUI and modern automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to ensure high code coverage and robust performance under load.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software QA experience focused on API and microservices testing.
• Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and testing strategies.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated functional and unit tests with >80% code coverage for microservices and APIs.
• Perform API testing to validate middleware endpoints.
• Conduct load and stress testing to evaluate system performance.
• Conduct manual and integration testing for microservices and APIs.
• Collaborate with development teams to drive test-driven development.
• Create detailed bug reports and work with developers to resolve issues.
