Utilizing a blend of foundational testing logic, robust API validation, and AI-assisted automation frameworks, the QA Analyst will actively collaborate with development teams to identify defects early in the lifecycle and streamline the continuous integration pipeline. This position is ideal for a high-potential professional with 1–2 years of experience who is eager to scale their automation capabilities and drive engineering efficiency within a fast-paced environment.
Early Defect Detection: Collaborate with the development team early in the development lifecycle to isolate bugs, clarify requirements,and prevent defectsfrom reaching production. Requirements traceabilitywill be ametric of futuresuccess.
API Validation & Interoperability: Conduct rigorous testing at the APIlayer to validatebackend logic, ensuredata integrity acrossservices, and confirmseamless communicationwith third-partysoftware applications.
Data Integration & Verification: Working with senior members of the enterpriseteam, write andrun database queriesto inspect datapipelines, verify back-end triggers, andensure information flowsaccurately throughout theenterprise ecosystem.
Automated Framework Development: Build,maintain, and executeautomated regression testsuites to systematicallyreplace manual testingworkflows and shortenthe release lifecycle.
AI Tool Utilization: Leverage modern, AI-assisted engineering andautomation tools todraft test cases, generate scripts efficiently, and optimize testcoverage within continuousintegration (CI/CD) pipelines.
Onsite Collaboration & Operations: Actively participate insprint planning, engineeringreviews, and cross-functional problem-solvingduring required onsitedays at theBuffalo, NY office.
1–2 yearsof professional softwarequality assurance experience, with a focuson web applications, integration testing, orautomated pipelines.
Strong technicaltroubleshooting skillsand the abilityto systematically tracebugs across backendAPIs, databases, andfrontend interfaces toisolate root causes.
Proven integrity in handling sensitive corporate information, proprietary businesslogic, and liveproduction or testdata with strictconfidentiality.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer service mindset when translating technical bugs into actionablefeedback for developers, business analysts, andleadership.
Practical exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Bruno or Postman), database query writing, and automated orAI-assisted testingtools.
