Job summary

Gpreeves in the United States is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead multiple automation projects from requirements through deployment. You will apply project management disciplines, coordinate engineering and manufacturing teams, and deliver runs with a hands-on approach.

You will prepare weekly updates for leadership, monitor scope, schedule and budget, identify risks, and engage customers during final run-off/installation to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of project management experience in the automation industry.
• Hands-on engagement with engineering and manufacturing throughout the project lifecycle.
• Strong attention to details, deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Documentation management and the ability to use project management tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.
• Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.
• Engage in a hands-on approach throughout the project’s lifecycle.

The project manager will utilize project management disciplines, tools and software to manage multiple projects in our growing automation company. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field of industrial automation and strong skills in work-plan development, progress tracking and a hands-on approach through project completion. The project manager will prepare and present weekly updates to leadership, ensuring that projects remain on target.

Objectives of this Role

• Establish project management disciplines, tools and software.
• Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
• Have a hands-on approach to complete the projects and ability to engage with the customer with final run-off/installation.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
