Job summary

Brock Solutions is seeking an Automation Project Manager to join our team in Winston-Salem, NC. You will lead real-time control system implementations and automation solutions in a critical operational capacity, working with a team of engineers.

The role requires 3+ years of leadership on controls automation projects, strong communication, and travel about 30%. A degree in a related engineering field is required. We offer profit sharing, extended health benefits, and flexible working hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership on controls automation projects.
• Experience managing projects in manufacturing industries preferred.
• Customer focused and action oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work effectively in a team-based environment.
• Experience with MS Office and MS Project is a plus.
• College diploma or university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Design, Automation, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
• Travel approximately 30%.

Responsibilities

• Financial responsibility on projects between $500k and $10M.
• Manage client expectations and communications to project team.
• Control scope internally and with clients.
• Assign and optimize resources for all project team members.
• Create and manage project schedules.
• Maintain strong relationships with key partners.
• Identify risks and roadblocks and work with management to resolve.
• Ensure quality by following standard project and development processes.
