Job summary

Brock Solutions, a Detroit-based engineering and automation solutions provider, is seeking a Project Manager - Automation to lead real-time control system projects. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage client communications, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery for critical manufacturing and logistics operations.

The role requires 3+ years in controls automation leadership, strong communication, and travel about 30%.

Qualifications

3+ years in a leadership role on controls automation projects
Experience in manufacturing projects is an asset
Customer-focused and action oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Team-based project environment experience
MS Office and MS Project experience is a plus
College diploma or university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Design, Automation, Industrial Engineering or related fields
Travel approximately 30% is required

Responsibilities

Financial responsibility on projects between $500k and $10M
Managing clients' expectations and communication needs to the project team
Managing scope internally (with the project team) and externally (with the client)
Managing resource assignments and utilization; creating and managing project schedules
Ensuring harmonious relationships with key partners
Identifying risks and solving roadblocks to project completion
Ensuring quality through standard project and development processes
