Job summary

Kleen Test Products Corporation in Port Washington, WI is seeking a Project Engineer (Controls & Automation) to lead automation projects on the manufacturing floor, troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs, and integrate machine controls across lines.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, at least 3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing automation, and a collaborative, hands-on approach to drive uptime and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, machine controls, and industrial networks.

Responsibilities

Lead automation, controls, and manufacturing equipment improvement projects.
Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, machine control, and system integration issues on the production floor.
Support installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment and production lines.
Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to improve equipment reliability and uptime.
Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and vendors to optimize manufacturing processes.
