Job summary

JB Poindexter & Co., Inc. (JBPCO) is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead automation projects across manufacturing sites. You will identify automation opportunities, justify concepts, write scopes of work, select vendors, develop business cases, validate designs, and ensure JBPCO standards are followed.

This role involves coordinating multiple projects across North America, driving safety, quality, cost and throughput improvements, and mentoring engineers to deploy Industry 4.0 solutions.

Qualifications

• Ten years or more of directly related experience in manufacturing engineering or advanced manufacturing.
• Minimum of five years must be in program/project leadership.
• Preferred: Certifications in PE, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or relevant engineering credentials.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support manufacturing initiatives aimed at process improvements through automated processes that drive safety, quality, cost and throughput improvements.
• Lead Concept-to-Commissioning for automation systems with internal customers and external integrators.
• Define better business processes to support transformation and automation of JBPCO’s footprint.
• Drive cross-functional engagement and stakeholder alignment to advance projects and capital investment proposals and business cases.
• Collaborate with design staff on product design and tooling for efficient Lean production methods.
• Coordinate with management and staff on production timelines, staffing and cost considerations.
