Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• Strong mechanical engineering skills with programming and controls capability.
• Experience with automation vendors and applications.
• Proven success implementing automation in a manual manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication across all levels in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in high-volume, complex manufacturing.
• Understanding of Data Analysis, DOE, GD&T, FMEA, DFM/DFA.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team of Automation Program Leads and Engineers across JBPCO sites.
• Collaborate with BUs and Corporate to design, build, install and launch new equipment.
• Develop automation roadmap and concepts with BUs.
• Lead evaluation of current processes to improve safety, quality, productivity and cost.
• Manage vendor evaluation and RFP through system build, testing and ramp.
• Prepare concept layouts and drawings and document design processes.
• Lead complex system tests and reports; drive standardization and cost efficiency.
