Job summary

Ralliant seeks a Program Lead to own the Solon site's automation strategy, directing system design and development teams from launch to full-scale production. You will translate priorities into a clear technical roadmap and drive cross-functional execution.

The role requires credibility with controls, process, and automation engineers, plus program management discipline and the presence to represent Solon to leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in automation, controls, or manufacturing process engineering with program leadership.
• BS in Engineering or equivalent work experience required.
• Deep knowledge of controls, robotics, machine vision, PLCs, HMIs, and integrated systems.
• Proven program or project management experience from launch to scale.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across functions.

Responsibilities

• Set technical strategy and drive broader site automation initiatives.
• Lead and develop the automation design and development team.
• Manage end-to-end delivery: scoping, planning, timelines, risk mitigation.
• Provide technical leadership across controls, manufacturing processes, and automation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to align priorities.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and ensure program transparency.
• Identify improvement opportunities and adopt new tools and approaches.
• Guide design decisions including controls, robotics, vision, PLCs, HMIs.
