Job summary

Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company (PacSci EMC), a Ralliant Corporation, seeks a Program Lead to own the Solon site's automation strategy from launch to full-scale production. You will lead the design and development teams, setting a clear technical roadmap and directing cross-functional execution across controls, process, and automation engineering.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in automation/controls/manufacturing process engineering with program/project leadership.
• BS in Engineering or similar field required.
• Technical depth across controls and manufacturing engineering preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automation systems: controls, robotics, machine vision, PLCs, HMIs, and integrated manufacturing systems.
• Program/project management experience: planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, end-to-end execution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in electronics systems engineering in aerospace/defense/automotive industries.

Responsibilities

• Set technical strategy and direction for site automation initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and grow the automation design and development team.
• Manage end-to-end project delivery: scoping, timelines, resources, risk.
• Provide technical leadership across controls, manufacturing, and automation.
• Assess challenges and risks; propose robust solutions and ensure execution.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to align objectives.
• Communicate with stakeholders at all levels for transparency and timely decisions.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and adoption of new tools.
• Guide automation system design decisions including controls, robotics, machine vision, PLCs, HMIs.
• Represent Solon program in planning and roadmap discussions with other sites and leadership.
• Build organizational capability and talent depth within the program team.
• Additional duties as assigned.
