Job summary

AMF Bakery Systems is seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager for Workhorse Automation to define the product strategy, roadmap, and commercial direction. You will be the voice of the customer, guiding new product development and portfolio management to drive profitable growth.

The TPM will lead cross‑functional work with engineering, operations, and sales, translate customer needs into technically viable solutions, set pricing, and oversee market launches to keep the Workhorse portfolio

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in industrial automation or related capital equipment.
• Experience developing product strategies, roadmaps, and pricing.
• Strong understanding of automation systems and software platforms.
• Ability to translate customer needs into viable technical solutions.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support customers.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Workhorse Automation product strategy and three- to five-year technology roadmap.
• Identify emerging customer needs, market trends, and automation opportunities.
• Evaluate, prioritize, and champion new products and features for the portfolio.
• Lead portfolio reviews, lifecycle management, and product rationalization.
• Define product positioning and value propositions for target markets.
• Partner with Engineering and Operations to ensure successful execution of development programs.
• Drive pricing governance, profitability targets, and business cases.
• Monitor portfolio performance, revenue, margins, and market competitiveness.
• Support strategic quoting and major customer opportunities with technically sound solutions.
• Stay attuned to competitive activity and industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
