Job summary

Finlays Solutions seeks a Process Engineer to drive operational excellence at the San Antonio site. You will evaluate and optimize key production processes, manage capital projects, and lead commissioning of new equipment to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role requires strong chemical/process engineering background, problem-solving skills, and collaboration across teams. Expect a highly automated, lean manufacturing environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of production experience in Food & Beverage, CPG, or related sectors.
• Experience with World Class Manufacturing/Lean methodologies.
• Technical experience with high-speed packaging lines, thermal processing, blending, and CIP.
• Safety management competence in continuous processing environments.
• Understanding of QA systems and GMP in food/beverage.
• Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
• English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve key manufacturing processes (extraction, blending, CIP, packaging) using engineering principles and data analysis.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancement, automation, and cost reduction.
• Lead projects from concept through capital proposal, approval, installation, and implementation.
• Ensure process safety, regulatory compliance, and sanitary design across solutions.
• Lead commissioning, qualification, and startup of new equipment.
• Establish and monitor ongoing process performance and continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with Commercialization, R&D, and NPD to scale manufacturing solutions.
