Job summary

Camaco in Lorain, OH is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes aligned with product specs and quality standards.

You will recommend improvements to production methods and controls, coordinate launches for new and revised products, and ensure compliance with IATF16949 documentation requirements. This role emphasizes robotics, automation, and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 3+ years of work experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct time and method studies establishing time standards for manufacturing operations.
• Provide Industrial Engineering support through lean manufacturing / Kaizen principles.
• Develop plant layouts, work instructions, process flow layout, set-up procedures adhering to safety, quality and productivity procedures.
• Handle automation with robotic materials and parts.
• Develop and manage process FMEA’s and other process documentation.
