Job summary

Bergen Community College is seeking a Technical Process Engineer to drive business process improvement across IT and divisions. You will analyze needs, design automated solutions, and admin Laserfiche and data integration with Ethos/Colleague to ensure a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, developing RESTful APIs, writing PL/SQL, generating reports, providing user training, and maintaining system interfaces with ADA-compliant, modern UI standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer or technology-related field required; equivalent work experience considered.
• 2+ years implementing and managing a large enterprise system.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs using XML and JSON.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business needs for innovative tech solutions.
• Collaborate cross-divisionally to maximize functionality of information systems.
• Develop automated solutions using enterprise software and custom code.
• Provide configuration support for enterprise applications.
• Administer Laserfiche for forms and workflow integration.
• Use Ellucian Ethos/Data Model to sync data across systems.
• Write and optimize PL/SQL programs and database packages.
• Design and build RESTful APIs and web services.
• Develop reports and training for user communities.
• Create project schedules and action plans.
