Job summary

ATI is seeking a Process Controls and Automation Engineer to support our Pageland, SC manufacturing facility. This role focuses on designing, configuring, implementing, and maintaining process control and automation systems to improve efficiency and reliability.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy control strategies, support capital projects, and maintain thorough documentation while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering with exposure to automation and controls.
At least 2 years of electrical process controls, automation, or instrumentation experience.
Experience with automation software and control architectures.

Responsibilities

Analyze and troubleshoot challenges to recommend continuous improvement strategies.
Apply advanced engineering principles to improve efficiency of automation systems.
Partner with cross-functional teams to implement control models and strategies.
Provide technical expertise for capital projects and process evaluation.
Ensure process documentation is regularly developed and maintained.
Interface with equipment suppliers to understand their operation and control.
