Job summary

SMC Corporation in Noblesville, Indiana, seeks a National Sales Training - Technical Trainer to help develop and deliver technical and product training programs across the company.

You will create curricula, multimedia materials, and hands-on activities, travel to locations as needed, and collaborate with the National Training Manager and Senior Trainer to continually improve training outcomes.

Qualifications

• Engage an audience with facilitation and hands-on activities.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or 5 years related manufacturing/technical experience.
• 3 years of experience as SMC technical employee or closely related equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong teamwork and self-direction.
• Ability to learn appropriate software and concepts; use LMS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person, video and remote training sessions.
• Develop and implement training curricula, materials, and tests.
• Create multi-media training materials accessible throughout the corporation.
• Maintain training department equipment (mechanical, electrical, fluid power).
• Travel to SMC locations, distributor sites or customer facilities to teach.
