Job summary

GCS Recruitment Specialists is launching a structured train-to-deploy program with intensive onsite training in Seattle. You will then work on real-world automation projects configuring, testing, and commissioning conveyor control systems in fulfillment centers.

You’ll gain hands-on PLC experience, work with PLCs, EtherCAT devices, sensors, and safety I/O, and collaborate using Git-based workflows, with travel or relocation for deployment projects.

Qualifications

Requires a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Mechatronics.
Hands-on PLC experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, CODESYS, B&R, Schneider, etc.
Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and I/O lists.
Basic programming knowledge (Structured Text, Python, C, Ladder Logic).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; willingness to travel/relocate for deployments.

Responsibilities

Configure control applications from electrical drawings and I/O lists.
Test solutions in simulation and on real hardware.
Support commissioning and troubleshooting on live deployments.
Work with PLCs, EtherCAT devices, sensors, motors, safety I/O, and Git-based workflows.
