Job summary

GCS Recruitment Specialists seeks candidates for a structured train-to-deploy program in the US Northwest. The role involves intensive onsite training followed by work on real-world automation projects configuring, testing, and commissioning conveyor control systems in fulfillment centers.

You will configure control applications from electrical drawings and I/O lists, test in simulation and on equipment, and support live deployments.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Mechatronics.
• Hands-on PLC experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, CODESYS, B&R, Schneider, etc.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and I/O lists.
• Basic programming knowledge (Structured Text, Python, C, Ladder Logic).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure control applications from electrical drawings and I/O lists.
• Test solutions in simulation and on real hardware.
• Support commissioning and troubleshooting on live deployments.
• Work with PLCs, EtherCAT devices, sensors, motors, safety I/O, and Git-based workflows.
