Job summary

AP Emissions Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with PLC expertise to join our team onsite in North Carolina. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PLC-based automation, read diagrams, and support startup activities with engineering and OEM partners.

The role requires collaboration across engineering and operations to optimize automated production systems.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on maintenance in PLC systems.
Experience with Allen-Bradley RSLogix/Studio5000.
Experience with sensors, drives, HMIs and industrial networks.
Familiarity with safety PLCs and LOTO procedures.
Support for Industry 4.0 / Smart Factory initiatives.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC-based automation systems.
Support startup and commissioning of the new automation area with engineering and OEM vendors.
Read wiring diagrams and PLC logic to diagnose issues and restore functionality.
Perform preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and reduce unplanned downtime.
Provide technical support for robotic arms, conveyors, vision systems, and safety systems.
Document PLC programs, maintenance procedures, and equipment configurations.
Participate in RCA and equipment upgrades.
Train and mentor junior technicians.
