Job summary

Blue Cross of Idaho is seeking Common Services Engineers to design, develop, maintain, support, document, test, and debug software systems and infrastructure. Hybrid work is available, onsite at the Meridian Idaho campus with local work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience
• Applicable certification(s) as defined by the leader + 2 years additional experience
• Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field + 2 years additional experience
• Two or more years of design or development experience across software applications, systems, or infrastructure
• Experience with UI Path / RPA and knowledge of AI tools

Responsibilities

• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot software systems and infrastructure
• Develop tools and scripts to support build, release, and CI/CD processes
• Automate deployments and ensure build integrity
• Create and maintain automated test scripts and testing plans
• Contribute to full development lifecycle including requirements and design
• Mentor and coach other engineers
• Review solution performance and manage operational/technical risks
