Job summary

QDStaff, based in San Marcos, CA, is seeking a Software Engineer to design and build automation platforms, validation systems, and internal tooling powering mobile games. You will craft reusable frameworks, integrate with CI/CD, and develop TypeScript-based automation services with AI-assisted validation.

You will mentor teammates, push for scalable tooling, and improve startup performance and data capture. Relocation is provided and the role is in-office five days a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience with automation/tooling/platforms
• 2+ years mobile app or cross‑platform web app experience
• Experience with AI-enabled automation and tooling
• Experience designing/evolving automation frameworks using TypeScript-based tooling
• Experience with SQL stored procedures, data extraction, and performance data analysis
• Experience building tools that improve developer workflows or internal processes
• Experience developing or supporting slot games or web-based games

Responsibilities

• Engineer automation platforms, validation systems, and internal tooling from scratch
• Architect reusable frameworks that integrate into CI/CD pipelines
• Design and build TypeScript-based automation services and tooling
• Develop AI-assisted validation and performance tooling
• Collaborate with game engineers to embed automation and instrumentation
• Drive technical standards and cross-team efficiency
• Contribute to runtime performance monitoring and data capture systems
