PharMerica in Greensburg, PA is hiring a full-time Automation Pharmacy Technician for a non-retail, closed‑door pharmacy environment serving long-term care and senior living clients. The role involves packing, labeling, compounding, and data entry, with responsibilities including inventory management and narcotics room duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician license as required by state.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting and familiarity with medical terminology.
• Ability to operate a computer; recognize and identify medications.
• Detail oriented with good communication and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Fill prescription items and package medications for dispensing and delivery.
• Accurately label products with cautions and auxiliary labels.
• Prepare medications, including non-sterile compounding.
• Enter patient and prescription data into the system to generate labels.
• Assist with inventory management and handling returns per protocol.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
• Assist with onboarding and training new staff.
• Operate automated machines to prepack medications and manage narcotics room duties.
