PharMerica is hiring a full-time Automation Pharmacy Technician in Wilkes-Barre, PA. You will work in a closed-door, non-retail setting serving long-term care and senior living clients. The role involves automated prepacking, IV preparation, and inventory tasks, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Required: High School diploma and state-registered Pharmacy Technician license; prior pharmacy experience and strong computer skills. Eligible staff may receive tuition assistance, benefits, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician license as required by state (PharMerica may sponsor or reimburse licensing fees).
• Experience in a pharmacy setting and knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to operate a computer and recognize medications; accuracy is essential.

Responsabilités

• Fill prescriptions and package medications for dispensing and delivery.
• Label products with accurate cautions and auxiliary labels.
• Prepare non-sterile medications and enter data into the system.
• Assist with inventory management and handling returns per protocol.
• Support onboarding and training of new staff; operate automated machines.
