PharMerica in Greensburg, PA is seeking a full-time Automation Pharmacy Technician to join its closed-door LTC-focused team. You will prepack medications, handle labeling, compounding, and data entry while supporting inventory and narcotics processes.

Candidates should have a pharmacy background, technician license, and strong attention to detail with solid communication skills. Training and growth opportunities are available within a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician license required by state.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting and familiarity with medical terminology.
• Ability to operate a computer and recognize medications.
• Detail oriented with good oral communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescription items and package medications for dispensing and delivery.
• Accurately label products with required cautions and labels.
• Prepare medications, including non-sterile compounding.
• Enter patient and prescription data into the computer system.
• Assist with inventory management and removal of expired meds.
• Handle returned medications per protocol (credit or destruction).
• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
• Assist with onboarding and training new staff.
