Job summary

Grantek is seeking a panel builder in Addison, IL to support our design and manufacturing team. You will install machine controls on custom automation equipment, build and wire panels from scratch, read electrical schematics, and perform field wiring and commissioning.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years wiring automated equipment, hands-on experience with hand and power tools, and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.

Qualifications

• Ability to read/interpret electrical schematics.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Panel Construction; Build and wire panels from scratch using electrical schematics.
• Perform field wiring to panel I/O or field devices.
• Read Pneumatic schematics and install related components.
• Mount electrical controls and fabricate brackets as needed.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair automation systems.
