Job summary

You will read schematics, assemble components with hand tools and drills, and perform testing and troubleshooting to deliver high-quality panels. Prior experience in electronics assembly and mechanical fabrication is valued.

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Panel Builder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, wiring, and assembling electrical control panels and enclosures that meet provided Drawings. Your expertise in electrical schematics, electronics assembly, and electro-mechanical components will ensure the delivery of high-quality panels used across our industrial applications.

Duties

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately assemble control panels.
• Build electrical panels by installing components such as circuit boards, relays, contactors, terminal blocks, wiring harnesses using hand tools, and hardware build.
• Utilize Drill presses, and other basic machinery to build the Control Panel.
• Wire electrical components according to schematic diagrams, ensuring proper routing and labeling for safety and functionality.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electro-mechanical issues during assembly or testing phases using multimeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to follow blueprint specifications and modify designs as needed for manufacturing feasibility.
• Conduct quality inspections of assembled panels to meet industry standards for electrical assembly and mechanical integrity.
• Proven experience in electrical panel building, electronics assembly, mechanical fabrication or related manufacturing roles.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their integration within control panels.
• Skilled in using hand tools, machining equipment, wire strippers, crimpers, and testing devices such as multimeters.
• Understanding of electrical wiring practices, schematic reading, and following blueprint specifications precisely.
• Mechanical assembly skills combined with troubleshooting abilities for electro-mechanical components.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, wiring harness assembly, and quality control procedures.
