Aerotek in Middletown, PA is seeking an Automation Machine Operator to set up, calibrate, and monitor terminal block automation machinery in a modern production environment. You will ensure product quality through inspections and perform routine maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently.

The role requires hands-on experience with machine operation and automation, the ability to troubleshoot issues, and the capacity to work independently while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven prior experience in machine operation within a production or manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience operating automation machinery is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and proactively troubleshoot and fix minor machine issues without maintenance assistance.
• Comfort using PCs or machine interfaces to enter data, adjust settings, and monitor performance.
• Strong attention to detail for product inspection and quality verification.
• Ability to read and follow basic mechanical or production documentation, such as blueprints or work instructions.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and familiarity with mechanical assembly and production processes.
• Willingness and ability to follow all safety procedures and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate automated machines according to production specifications and job requirements.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain throughput.
• Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or software issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery.
• Document production data and performance metrics clearly.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with standards.
• Work independently on assigned machines and fix minor issues without maintenance support.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth production flow.
• Use blueprints or work instructions to complete tasks accurately.
• Suggest process or equipment improvements when appropriate.
