Job summary

CBRE is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the operation and maintenance of material handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems in a client facility. You will repair, maintain, and improve functionality of equipment, while documenting preventative maintenance and supporting safety initiatives.

Candidates should have 2+ years in electrical/mechanical trades, familiarity with CMMS, and experience with automated conveyor systems.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or higher degree in mechanical or electrical field.
• 2+ years apprenticeship in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with MHE safety standards and CMMS.
• 2+ years with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 2+ years' experience with predictive and preventative maintenance.
• 2+ years blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
• 2+ years knowledge of electrical/electronic principles.
• 1+ year troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Resolve electrical and mechanical issues on MHE.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive relationships with Client and Operations teams.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
