Job summary

Chewy's Jessup, PA fulfillment center is seeking an Automated Maintenance Technician II to maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical material handling equipment across conveyors, sorters, printers, and related systems.

The role requires PLC familiarity, wiring knowledge, and hands-on ability with prefabricated controls, blueprints, and welding. You will document work orders, support safety programs, and work in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Qualifications

• PC proficiency and ability to use handheld devices.
• Familiar with wiring diagrams, symbols, and electrical measuring.
• Experience in work order management, preventive/predictive maintenance procedures, Industrial Controls and Electronics, troubleshoot basic Input/Output functions.
• Basic blueprint and schematic reading and metal fabrication and welding.
• Basic understanding of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programs.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, clean, lubricate, calibrate, and troubleshoot all electrical and mechanical aspects of MHE on site (conveyors, sortation, printers, etc.).
• Adjust scanners, cameras, scales, and printer applicators (PANDA).
• Reset, repair, or replace belts, chains, cables, and wearing components.
• Use appropriate job plans, procedures, and manuals.
• Assist with basic electronics/ Programmable Logic Controls troubleshooting.
• Operate devices to build and close work orders with data such as labor hours and parts used.
