Job summary

ZT Systems, a leader in advanced automation, seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for Secaucus, NJ. You will own conveyance and pneumatic systems across automated production cells and troubleshoot complex electromechanical equipment to minimize downtime.

You will develop and execute preventive maintenance programs, maintain critical spare parts, and collaborate with Robotics and Controls teams to improve reliability and availability.

Qualifications

• Trade school certification in a technical field.
• 5+ years of practical experience in automated manufacturing.
• Experience troubleshooting conveyors, pneumatic actuators, motors, sensors and mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Owner for conveyance, pneumatic systems and mechanical equipment in production cells.
• Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, actuators, motors, gearboxes, bearings and sensors.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance across ~40 conveyance cells.
