Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Automation in Nashua, NH, a direct-hire role to design, build, and optimize a line of custom machinery. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, translate concepts into real systems, perform 3D CAD modeling with SolidWorks, and apply probabilistic

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering with 4+ years of hands-on experience.
Proficiency in 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks.
Knowledge of pneumatic and mechanical drive systems and basic controls logic.
Excellent communication and hands-on problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Create 3D models, assemblies, custom components, and safety guarding using SolidWorks.
Integrate pneumatics, motion control, sensors, and actuators with electrical and control systems.
Commissioning: Conduct stress/load calculations, system testing, and on-site startup
Perform root-cause analysis on equipment failures and optimize machine performance and uptime.
Collaboration with electrical, software, operations, and safety teams from concept to final delivery.
