Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Manager of Automation to drive automation strategies for multiplexed ligand-binding assays in Global Clinical Immunology. You will design methods compatible with automation, lead validation efforts, and collaborate with clinical testing groups to enable high-throughput integration.

The role may involve supporting multiple tasks across projects, guiding junior team members, and ensuring timely completion of objectives to advance departmental milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or related field with 3+ years of industry experience in bioanalytical assay development, data analysis, and automation.
• Master’s degree in Biological Sciences or related field with 1+ years of industry experience in bioanalytical assay development, data analysis, and automation.
• Internship or co-op experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Design bioanalytical methods compatible with automation platforms and lead the development, qualification, and validation of these methods with a focus on ligand binding assays.
• Troubleshoot issues that may arise with automated platforms.
• Under direction of management, plans and oversees the day-to-day operations and general activities associated with one or more laboratories/projects.
• Ensures laboratory resources are maintained to meet objectives; evaluates performance and communicates with senior management.
• Support a quality and compliant testing environment (laboratories, equipment, reagents, training and documentation, methods, personnel).
• Training coworkers on laboratory methods and assist with training modules.
